Ok, to clarify: *if you send ASCII text directly in the parallel port
on an Epson C-series inkjet*, that's all you'll get.  I *tried* sending
it ESC/p2 sequences, and it didn't work out for me.  This was on a
C-84, perhaps the -86s and -88s are different.
