| SCO OSR6 - filePro 5.6.02D4
|
| In the filePro file "email" in $PFPROG/fp/fputil/filepro,
| when editing "prc.input" with dcabe and saving it I get:
|
| *** A filePro Wrror Has Occurred ***
|
| Line Number: 21
|
|   MySocket = socket()
| ^
| Process contains a syntax error at position indicated.
|
| MySocket is properly declared on the table, and the help
| page for SOCKET indicates that family, type and protocol
| are optional arguments and are ignored if given.
|
| So what could be causing the error?
|
| That same table on Windows XP Pro and filePro 5.6.01D9
| passes the syntax checker with nary a whimper.

(Corrected typo where I had 4.6.01D9 above.)

I copied the Windows table to my UNIX system where it also
fails the syntax check as described above.
