Hello,
Hmmm, well, um, er... and all that... I'm disconnected
pretty much from everything and every site I would
need to fix any problems with the Survivor Series CD's.
Managed to get the room up for a bit from here and Tony Ryder told
me there have been some problems with Media Plyer 11 beta not
playing the movies??? Not sure whay tat would be... but
I also heard there might be problems reading the disks (or some of them)
period.
For whtaver reason, if you are having problems, with either CD, you
can download an ISO image of them from my site and burn you own
CD... yes even those people who have not bought the series. I don't mind.
The iso images reside at:
www.valar.com/vg_06q1.iso
and
www.valar.com/vg_06q2.iso
Jous go to these URL's and (S)ave the image to your system. Then
use whatever CD burning software you have to "Burn an ISO image.".
WARNING! this is NOT the amse as burning an audio CD or burning a data
compilation. This is a special function in the software that burns
the "image" of a CD to a disk. Check carefully that this is what you
are doing when you point to the images you just downloaded. Do them
one at a time of course.
If you have any problems with the CD's, no need to leave a message here..
although at least Jim or Tony will see it that way. Best yet to send a note to
john at valar.com. I will mail new CD's to anyone who can't grab the appropriate
image off the net. Jut leave your name... and my apologies.

P.S. - I am on vactaion until the 10th of July, so just
remember these CD's were always FREE!!! They only came to
you as an added bonus and (tank you) for buying the filePro Survivor
Series Tutorials. EVeryone have a nice 4th!
