I'm probably the closest thing to a ``high ranking official'' on
the FilePro list since it runs on my system, and I get to approve
messages that our anti-spam software refers for approval or are
from e-mail addresses that aren't subscribers to the list. Mark
(Fairlight) also has the ability to approve messages. I asked
him to do that because I'm not always available, and I wanted to
avoid day-long delays if I'm out of the office.

There certainly have been times when I've been tempted to ban
some folks from the list (notably at least one individual on the
list with an AOL account that generates bounces that come back to
me as list manager because he doesn't accept mail from certain
people on the list -- and I'm one of those people :-).

I haven't a clue what the ``funny messages from funny people''
comment is about.
