One has to wonder (okay, -I- have to wonder) why, when 5.6 is so close to
being through beta, one would not just upgrade from 4.8 to 5.6 directly
rather than moving through a product version that's soon to be deprecated.
I mean, if it's waited this long, what's another couple months or so?

But, maybe it's just me.  To shamelessly borrow Jay's line, "So -many-
things are just me."
