As nearly as we've been able to determine here, all three (Master,
Maestro, Eze) will run on linux-ibcs, which requires a 2.2
kernel.  They will also run on linux-abi, which runs as late as a 2.4
kernel.  Alas, the linux-abi project is semi-moribund, and they haven't
put out a production release that will run on 2.6 kernels.

So, without playing kernel-downgrade games, the newest production Linux
release you can use is SuSE 9.0.
