How did I become the subject for this thread?
I have never complaint about the fp room. I have, however,
mentioned the fact that you've asked I do not come to the room.
Why would I complain? The only reason I got in the room was to
contact Jim and this was well over a year ago (perhaps over 2 yrs).
I have not missed a beat nor give it a second thought. The
truth is that the ONLY time of realize the fp room exists is
when it is mentioned in this list.
I have never made comments to put down nor support the fp room.
I believe my comments were more about your "behavior" and the
fact that since you own it, your personal feelings affect the
overall accessibility of the room. Meaning, you got upset with
me and you in turn asked me to get lost and since you wanted to
know nothing of me, you requested I did not use the fp room
going forward.
I have, to this date, complied with your request. I have not
nor will ever, use the fp room.

John, I wonder what really is in your mind? I am sure that
if this were to be ranked as flame (and it might since I am
responding), you will undoubtedly say that you have never used
such language and if you do, it is only when forced to. Have I?
Why are you so defensive?
I wonder who needs the fp room the most; you or the filePro
community? Put yourself to the test ... close the room for a
couple of weeks and see if you can survive without it. I know
I can, I have and I will ...

I hold nothing against you nor any members of this list. I have
nothing against the list, the fp room nor any other forum used by
any member of this community. I have, however, have heated
arguments with you and a couple others about filePro and/or
industry related subjects. I know and admit that I have found
and faced my own ignorance in this medium, as I am sure many others
have.
One thing I am sure of, I have never taken the time to offend, put
down or question anyone's integrity, skills or motives. I have
never sent private messages to any one on the list to blast them
over something they posted on the list.
I am surprised to learn that you have not banned me nor did I ever
thought you had - I simply knew I was not welcome (you told me so),
so after three or four visits, I stopped.
Funny how a simple question about SCO Licensing turns into this
and God knows what will follow 8-)
