(CAS) filePro Speed on Windows 200x Server

Hello All,
I have a question that has been nagging our company for years now, but we just put up with it. I will give you some background information to hopefully help you maybe diagnose the issue. For years we ran on a Novell 5.x NOS, using filePro 4.X. All workstations were a mix of Windows 98/98se/XP. All ran relatively quick. We then upgraded to filePro 5.X, and noticed a slight degrade in the speed, but nothing we could not deal with. When we moved locations, we decided to change over from Novell to Windows 200x servers. It was then we noticed a significant downgrade in the speed of filePro. A perfect example of this is when I created a process to read in a .CSV file and export it into a filePro 5.x file (without indexes). In approximately 3 hours time it had only created 30 some odd thousand records out of the 500,000 that needed to be exported. I stopped the process, and started it up on one of our test machines (also a Windows 2000 server) running a filePro 4.8 version. Not only did it run fast, it imported 9 files, of the same amount of records, in about an hours time.

My question is, is there anything that any of you could think of that we could do, or check that could possibly help make filePro 5.x run faster on a Windows 200x server? If you need more answers to any questions, please feel free to ask.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
