Wierd Printing Problem

Ok here goes...I don't have the slightest idea what's happening, nor do
I necessarily have ALL the facts, but my best description follows:

1. FP 5.0.14

2. Red Hat Enterprise (Version 4 I believe) 2.6.9-42.EL

Customer has been using system for over 1 year. No problems printing.

They have a dot matrix printer (pr3) that we send invoices to. Been
printing fine for over 1 year.

Last week customer calls and says invoices not printing. I go in and
look a at print que. Nothing qued up. I start testing...

I disable pr3 so I can see what hits the print que.

I set PFPRINTER=pr3 so everything I ask for should hit this printer's
que.

I try to print a batch of unposted invoices using report. Nothing hits
the que at all.

I try to print a single unposted invoice using rclerk and the "form"
command. Nothing hits the print que for pr3.

I try to print a report using rreport. It does not hit the que.

With the Unposted invoice on screen, in rclerk, I do a hardcopy...it
hits the print que for pr3 just fine.

I try to print something from the Linux command line "ie. lp -dpr3
filename
and it goes to the que just fine.

To summarize:

	Forms don't make it

	Reports don't make it

Hardcopies from within Inquire/Update/Add do make it.

Files sent from the command line make it.

Other info:

Their system integrator MAY have updated the operating system
last week. The customer is not sure.

	Printer command is "lp -s -dpr3 - 2>/dev/null"

	Also tried: "lp -s -dpr3 2>/dev/null"

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Scott
