There are a lot of startup options with Anzio, and a lot of ways to
accomplish this. Here is one way:
1. Configure your "main" settings file, named "anziowin.def", to either a)
not have a host name, or b) not have "auto connect on startup" (in the
Communicate menu) set. Configure other preference items in this file, such
as terminal type, colors, status line, cursor type, etc. Save and exit.
2. To set up a new connection, start up with this "default connection"
file. Change what needs to be changed. When you quit, choose "Save As",
and give it a new filename with a ".DEF" extension, in the same directory
it's pointing to (normally the directory that contains the .EXE). If you
like, let it set up a new desktop icon.
3. To reuse a connection, either:
a) Click the desktop icon created as above.
or
b) Choose the start menu item "Anzio Lite (Choose connection)". This
will present a listbox of all the ".DEF" files in the current working
directory, which should correspond to your various targets.
HTH.
