OT: broken/useless ansi - console driver??

For what it's worth, the SCO console was never fully ANSI compliant. There
were a few things it did wrong, and a LOT of things it didn't do at all.
I'm talking about responding to escape sequences.
And the ANSI (3.64, IIRC) standard did NOT address what special keys such
as F-keys sent out.
So SCO 5.0.5 is not equal to ANSI, nor is 5.0.6, nor 5.0.7, not 6.0. In
fact, I believe the at386-ie is as close to the ANSI standard as 5.0.6 is.
You can still argue that they shouldn't have changed it.
