OK,
You folks have pursuaded me into telling you about the "Mole
Murderer" that I am married to.
Last year, our moles started to appear, much to Nancy's dismay.
These little guys really amaze me as to how they can burrow
with the speed that they do.
Sometime last fall, Nancy was working in the little garden,
just outside the back of the house. I was reading the paper,
or some such thing, when I saw her doing what can only be
described as one of those end zone victory dance. You know,
shuffling the feet and making those silly circles with the
fists together, etc.
I figured that this was a good time to go outside and ask what
the action was all about. Well, while digging about in the
garden with a shovel, she had unearthed one of these little
pests. She then began to beat the living s**t out of this
little rodent(?), with that shovel.
It's my job to dispose of these little creatures (field mice,
moles, etc.). However, in reviewing the "crime scene", she
had totally decimated the enemy to the point that I determined
that it was better to use it as fertilizer than trying to
tweeze up the remains.
The scary thing was the look on her face. I WILL NOT p*ss
off that woman, while she has garden tools in her hand!!!!
My, my, my.
Tom
