I have a client who just had her office moved. She previously printed
her fP output to an HP LaserJet (1100 or 1200). She must now print to a
Canon IR5000 Copier/Laser. No problem printing to the printer except
that the top heading portion of her fP output is being cut off. This
was not the case when printing to the HPLaser. I am using the following
HPLASER printer type within fP & I use the following print code which
was suggested by Jim Asman a number of years ago.
$1b &l 2a 0o 6d oe 66F Initialize Printer
This would put a laser in 66 lines per page mode. Is there an
additional command or print code that can be added to reduce the top
margin. I assume it is set for 1" and would like to try either .5 or
.75". I know they should be able to change this in the menu settings
for the printer but that would affect all of their print requests, not
just those generated by fP. Any suggestions appreciated.
