I have a couple of gmail accounts, though I admit I really don't use
them for anything.  (I grabbed "kenbrody" and "filepro".)  I also made
one with a username of "ThisIsASpamTrap", which (naturally) has started
getting spam, as I use it in my sig sometimes.

They do allow POP now, and someone developed a Linux filesystem which
uses gmail as its storage -- Google for "gmailfs".
