Win Server Runtime Problems

I checked the bat files I'm using for the server access and I see it is setting the variables PFPROG, PFDATA and PFDIR. I'll have to double check no one fiddled with that file -- but the menu comes up just fine that I call up in the script with the command %pfprog%\fp\p menuname so that tells me the pfprog path is ok.

I'll do as ken suggests with the @ in front to check for errors and see what comes up. If anyone else has suggestions, let me know - I'm going back to their office next week.

thanks

  Subject: Win Server Runtime Problems

I have a client using the runtime version of filepro on his windows network. The boss on the server and one employee are all that use the files. Something odd is happening, and I can't figure out why. Although working just fine before, all of a sudden the menus on the server just sit there and blink at you for every option (dclerk and dreport). The employee that is connected has no problems.

I thought maybe the fp and filepro directories needed to be set to share, but according to my notes, they did not need to be set up for sharing.

The only thing odd that I saw was that all the .prc files are noted as "palm files" on the server -- but they still work just fine for the other workstation.

The bosses son was working on the server since I was there last, but I don't see that he did anything to block the filepro access.

Anyone got a clue what I should be looking for here?

  Thanks in advance

  Linda Hapner
