It's not PC but saying something that can be interpreted by someone
else incorrectly.
I used to work in a highly-regulated industry and if someone said
"Bill got paid to say that" the next thing I'd know there would
be federal investigators checking to see if it were true.
It's not PC to not use the word 'bomb' if you are in an aircraft,
nor wave to you friend Jack a few seats away and say "Hi Jack".
It's not you saying something basty [I guess you meant nasty] or
bad, but saying something about someone else.
