I've done lots of SCSI on SCO as well, just not much recently as the number
of SCO systems we deal with is asymptotically approaching zero. I finally
remembered the ``mkdev .scsi'' command (which was a bit easier than my
figuring out my ancient smail-3.2 installation on the Caldera OpenLinux 1.3
system we retired last week :-).
The number of SCO systems I see using Compaq hardware == 1.

This was a very standard Adaptec 2940UW which doesn't require special
drivers so BTLDs aren't required.
