OK, I'll give it another shot.

I came across a table where I need to pass a couple values to a shell script 
in @done
and originally I wanted to use argv
    system "script" < aa < bb
but had commeneted out  < aa < bb  and used putenv instead
and left comments about the dummies being blank in @done
