Barry,

I just wanted to add this:

Since filePro will pick the printer by type or name as it sees fit, I 
have found that when I assign printer names, I never use names that are 
duplicated as names for printer types.  This will eliminated the 
confusion entirely.

The idea works well if you have a bank of printers with the same type, 
by specifying just the type, filePro will pick the first printer with 
that type.  However, in real terms, I have never seen a customer that 
did not want a specific printer not just a type of printer.

This "feature" dates back as far as I can recall.
