Actually on a lark last weekend I downloaded Mandrake-10 (three iso's) 
and installed it to see how the otherside lives. Still wouldn't pass 
"Can my mother install it and use it test". It's all clean and gui-ey, 
but it still  misses the point and asks very technical questions that 
definitely are too geeky to be understood by anyone "normal".

Of course since the OP is replacing SCO-Host and not an Enterprise 
system they are looking to possibly hook the filePro server to the 
internet, so I'll put my requisite plug for FreeBSD in here.

Since it's a Host system upgrade, the server may have to deal with 
multiple serial port cards so here's a link to supported cards...
