filePro on SuSe 9.0 Linux NFS mounts - problem with NO LOCKS AVAILABLE

I sent this to fpTech but thought maybe someone on the list could help.

Filepro 5.0.13 - dclerk/dreport versions
In one case - where it worked on RedHat, it is accessed via fpCGI. That
will be the final situation on this testing, but it is not yet
happening. It is not working - even with a normal data entry access
from a filePro menu.
-------------------------------  PROBLEM INFO --------------
We have an issue that has started since we changed from prior versions
of Linux.

On RedHat 7.3 with a mounted NFS share from RedHat 7.2, I had a filePro
file on the mounted drive and all worked correctly.

We have changed to SuSe 9.0 versions on both systems, and now we get an
error that indicates NO LOCKS AVAILABLE when it tries to open indexes,
lockfiles or keys. It varies on which file it reports the problem. It
seems to have issues if more than one file needs to be locked.

lockd is running on the SuSe 9.0 computer, as it should be.

If I do the following - it works>
/var/appl/filepro/vvs/map
/var/appl/filepro/vvs/screen.0
/var2/appl/filepro/vvs/key
/var2/appl/filepro/vvs/data

VAR2 is the mounted nfs stuff.

PFDIR=/appl
PFDATA=/var
PFDSK=/var:/var2
PFPROG=/var/appl

Now if I try to edit this file I can add a record with no problem.

If I try to add an index to the file, I get a NO LOCKS AVAILABLE system
error from filepro.

We tried similar mounts with our SNAP drive and the SuSe 9.0 drives and
had similar results.

If I mount it with nolocks, it will work but I need to have this file
multi-user.

Is there a way to configure the system with more locks? Is this a
filePro issue?

We need this to work correctly.
