There is no real trick. Pretty much "day 1" learning how to
program in filePro with lookups.

This isn't MS-Access. You just can't drag stuff around
to get you where you wanna go.

Get to work. Just write two "processing-only" reports.
One for the master and one for the Supplimental.
You know what you want included.

And forget about the "anything can happen".
Maybe you should be doing this in a more visual environment
like Excel or OpenOffice Spreadsheet.

If you need training on "Lookups" that create free records,
you *really* need to take professional filePro training,
and should be at Circus Circus in LasVegas with STN.
