Comparing Files to Make A Third File

Most of you can do what I am going to ask faster than it will take to ask. For those part-time programmers/users like myself I would be grateful if someone would share coding that would do the following:

I have a larger MASTER file of general contact information (name. address etc.).

I also have a smaller SUPPLEMENTAL file of other relevant data about 'some' of the contacts in the MASTER file.

Each file shares a key field - an ID Number.

I need to create a COMBINED file (a third file) that consists of all the fields in the MASTER file and the SUPPLEMENTAL file where there are matches of ID numbers in the SUPPLEMENTAL file with ID numbers in the MASTER file. There should always be an ID Number match but anything can happen.

I will be using filePro version 5.0.00 (Define Processing version 5.0.05D9 and QuickStart version 5.0.05R9) on a Windows portable computer with a current version an XP Pro operating system.

Thank You VERY MUCH,
Art Moore
