missed someone in FP Room

I was in the FP Room a few minutes ago and someone named "scottco" logged
in. I said "hello" and did not get any response... so a few seconds I wrote
in text "hello"... still no response for a couple minutes... so I figured
they were just coming to use the file sharing area or do something else and
went out into my outer office.  I got involved in a meeting and 10 minutes
later I came back and found that scottco had left a question about
filePro... Why does his printer count down a record at a time and lock them
out of doing anything else while this happens... then when output is done
they can work again.  I'm pretty sure this can be solved pretty easily,
either here or there... but I wanted to apologize for not hanging around
long enough....
