That analogy is about as electrical as a fish needs a bicycle.

You can't use a typewriter to cool things nor use a refrigerator to produce
a document.

You can however do many of the exact same things with either report or
clerk. Often times with not even any way to say that one way is clearly more
efficient than the other. Especially when you consider all aspects of the
job not just the system resources required to run the final process or the
speed with which it runs.
