By the time the 2nd WW started the ``stoking'' had already been done.  Read
Carroll Quigley's books, ``Tragedy and Hope'', and ``The Anglo-American
Establishment'' for in depth analysis of the propaganda as well as
England's efforts between WWI and WWII to build up Germany as a balance
against France in Europe.  England had supported the 2nd strongest power in
Europe throughout the 18th and 19th centuries to maintain an balance of
power in Europe.

Logic and Reason aren't generally part of the repertoire of political
argument.
