I fail to see the relevance to the OP's question.  fPGI is not a web-based
presence.  It's a client/server "GUI" (and I use the term -very- loosely).

If you meant fPCGI, well...I don't recommend it personally.  Too many
design issues, and it's insecure by default unless you take specific steps
to use it securely.  There's a lot of onus on the developer to maintain not
only their own security, but the security of how that particular program 
works.
