For some reason, Laura can't post to the list, so this is from her.
==========
All,
I'm cleaning out the office and offering a workhorse
dot matrix printer for anyone who wants to pay for the postage
of shipping the thing (or come by and pick it up - we'll do
lunch!). It is a NEC Pinwriter P9XL dot matrix printer (plus
another black ribbon). It is great for someone who needs a
multiple copy print out. As a matter of filePro history, it
is the printer that SCC used to develop the NEC print code
table. It is a large (22" w x 14" d x 8" h), on the heavy
side, with very low mileage - it hasn't been used since
SCC closed the Hawthorne office. It has a Parallel port
interface. I'll even throw in a power cord and printer
cable (several lengths available for the asking)! <g>
If you have any interest, I'll give it a quick
test to make sure it works. Then I'll weigh it and get
a postage cost.
If I get no takers by Friday, Big Bertha will be
escorted to the nearest dumpster with Ken whining "but
it still works, you shouldn't throw it out, we might
need it someday" the entire time. Lord grant me the
strength to NOT pitch Ken (aka "Head Packrat") into
the dumpster as well.
