While all that may be true I have not had any problems. I am very connected
via cable modem and yet I run no Anti-Virus virus and have yet to be hit
with anything. I believe the reason is that I have tight security on all
programs that touch the internet and very strict on permissions of those
programs as well. This means that a lot of web sites don't work very well
but I have found that those that don't aren't of much use to me anyway.
