That makes sense. And of course, in mutt these look perfectly fine to me.
:) I suppose I may place the pgp_autosign on a folder hook so that I can
turn it on the rest of the time and not have it on here. I -just-
implemented GPG last night after years of PGP 2.6.2 use, and decided to
start using it religiously.

TECHNICALLY, the list shouldn't mangle the messages like that. One -solid-
reason for dumping the list signature, besides the aesthetics and bloat
that nobody I've talked to seems to like anyway. No offense, Bill, but
you can see how this might be a tad annoying to someone using PGP, as well
as those around them. Then again, OE sucks, and people shouldn't use it.
Unfortunately, many do, and Outlook itself, regardless of my feelings about
it, is indeed widespread--and I'd hate to think I was making my posts more
inaccessible than they have to be. I'm pretty sure that John Esak, for
instance, wouldn't necessarily go out of his way to open the -body- of my
message if it's being mangled this way--the philosophy of "yet another
thing we have to do" would surely apply, and I can accept that. Hell,
opening attachments is just a bad idea anyway, so I can see where many
wouldn't, if that's what's happening. So -if- it's the list doing it, I'm
going to turn it off here if the list signature isn't going away. *sigh*

Actually, Brian, I'm going to CC you on this, so you'll get two
copies. Tell us if it -only- looks that way to OE from the list, or if it
looks that way in any case, please? I want to verify that, as Ken says,
it's actually the list mangling it, and that my mail doesn't ordinarily
look this way to OE now, and not just the way mutt does it in
general. I should think Ken's right, but I just want to be sure.
