Asman's mention of my courses on CD. It was nice of him to tell you about them.
I don't know where the class you're talking about is, or who is putting it on...
but for $350, you can learn as much filePro as you want starting from absolute
scratch. You need no programming or filePro programming experience whatsoever...
and they will take you step by step through the creation of a full blown
accounting application... all the bells and whistles and how to do each thing...
in a very understandable (and repeatable) way. The Beginner CD will put you at a
point where you can do almost anything you want with filePro. The Intermediate
takes you to a point where you could call yourself a VERY good filePro
programmer and the Advanced puts you right there with the best of the best.
Getting these CD now entitles you to a full free upgrade to the Version 2 series
(when it comes out) which includes an Expert CD that builds everything
previously covered into a full G/L based accounting system. It also covers
latest filePro 5.6 functionality. </SPAN></FONT></STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG><FONT face="Courier New"><SPAN class=101130120-14072006>I guarantee
these CD's will be more than you expected and entirely enjoyable and
valuable to you. In no time at all, you will be fully able to do just about
anything you want in filePro. Certainly, you would be able to modify and
enhance Bud's program after going through these courses. However, of course, you
must be careful not to harm his program in any way. You will learn how to be
careful in this regard as you go through the courses. If I can tell you
anything else... let me know.</SPAN></FONT></STRONG></DIV>

and class wherever that may be.</SPAN></FONT></STRONG></DIV>

college... you will "fly" through the CD's and I'm absolutely convinced that if
you like the college courses even half as much as you say :-), you will love
these courses... because it is SO much easier to design filePro applications. It
is actually great FUN! </SPAN></FONT></STRONG></DIV>

in feedback about how useful these sessions would be for me. In

background: Our filePro database was designed for us in 1989 by Bud
Henschen. Since then it has had minor changes and is stable. There
are things that I might be able to change to make it more useful but for
the most part it does everything we need it to do. We have updated to a
copy of filePro copyright 1998 and it runs on a SCO Version 5.0.5. We
run Multiview 2000 to allow pc user access. I took a Fortran and a Cobol
class in college during the mid 1980's (don't remember details but enjoyed the
classes and got A's.) I took a Unix class this past spring. Other
than that I have only been a computer user.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
