I recently tried upgrading from 5.0.09 to
5.0.14. After installing the upgrade I noticed
some of my programs go quite a bit slower. Where I notice it the most is where I
draw a screen with a header and footer, then put a browse window between them. I
use quite a few show command to overwrite the top and bottom lines of the browse
with a different color and some graphic characters to make the browse window
look more like part of the screen. I know the simple solution is not to do the
show commands but the older version 5.0.09 went about 3-4 times faster when
scrolling through the browse with the show commands. Something must have been
changed between these two versions, (probably for fpgui?). Is there anyway to
get the speed back with the newer version?
