I just got an email from Donna Fulton's email address that contained a
scam invite to a memorial service for John Esak. It came from a misspelled
URL of PunchBolw.com

I thought it was odd right away, since John passed away a couple of
years ago.

It wanted me to download and install an executable that is probably
very bad, so I'm just letting the list know in case any of you get the same
email.

A widespread phishing scam uses fake Punchbowl digital event invitations
sent via email or text to steal account passwords or install malware. These
fraudulent messages often appear to come from someone you know whose email
account was already compromised, prompting you to click a malicious link or
log in with your personal credentials. [
