Alma Linux - FP 5.0.14D4

I'm not familiar with Alma Linux, but I am running 5.011aD4 on the latest 64-bit revision of Oracle Linux 7 in their cloud infrastructure.   I only had to install a couple of legacy libraries to get the binaries to run without issue.

[root at opc3 ~]# uname -rvmo
5.4.17-2136.316.7.el7uek.x86_64 #2 SMP Mon Jan 23 18:37:26 PST 2023 x86_64 GNU/Linux

[root at opc3 ~]# rpm -qa | grep gcc

I have not but I would think you would have to make sure you have a 32 bit version, or if Alma is required, I would think that the best thing to be successful would be to run qemu with another highly supported 32 bit OS as a client. Highest chance of success would be 32bit slackware from 2000's since if memory holds, that is the OS that the dev team seemed to prefer. Also if you set it up as a virtual machine, you will be able to take snapshots and not worry about breaking things and having to start from the beginning along the way.


Others will chime hopefully, but I don't think it will work out of the box without pretending it's 1999 somewhere along the way.
