Typical HP.  I gave up on HP after they wouldn't provide the parts
necessary to repair a year-old color laser printer, and they have always
been horrible maintaining drivers for older printers and scanners.

Currently I'm using standard CUPS drivers on my Mac Mini and various Linux
systems including CentOS, Almalinux, and Raspberry Pi using ghostpdl on the
Linux systems to convert standard HP print codes to PDF.
