Yeah, sounds like you went with same approach as I did - except that I
do not use filePro, my ERP is PHP/MySQL based."

Yep, print speed response was also a big concern. We were scanning product labels and needed immediate
QRCodes printed on small labels, wirelessly, on an assembly line. One second delay was the target.
Symbol 4000's telnet'd in to a SCO box, batch scanning and individual record creation, inventory
control, and remote label generation. Remote warehouse issues as well. IE: RMA replacement forms requested at
one location via the network, that generated a QR Code document for replacement inventory shipment
at another location. Because it was SCO, LPD on port 515, and Anzio's Print Wizard was the fastest solution.
I had more problem with the Symbol 4000's losing connections telnet than I ever did with the printing solution I came up
with. I would do it the same way again today. Especially with CUPS availability etc.

Ah, good old tcpdf - fpdf is what I use, kind of got stuck with it
since I always find means to do what I need.

I like tcpdf ability to handle HTML tags and properties ...

Yeah, sounds like you went with same approach as I did - except that I
do not use filePro, my ERP is PHP/MySQL based.

I can whip up an API if you are interested - I am swamped writing an API
to integrate with MS Business Central but if you
can wait a few days, I will gladly put something together and you can
use it calling a cURL command from your filePro
application.
