I have client running Widnows10 and he has 195GB free space on his drive
When I try to add 1 record filePro is showing me there is not space and it cannot add records. How do I solve this issue?
Also when he enters a new record even though filePro can't add records it allow him to enter records. No error message appears. Is there a way to have filePro to indicate that the can't add any new contracts? Apparently the new contract entered can be printed but not saved. I will have to check to see if there are any details saved as this is a header, detail file. If there are details, The header can be rebuilt if we can solve the main issue.

Also, I was able use indexes pressing F7 to get to the last record in the index or enter a record number. However these no longer work.

I could upgrade him to 6..0 but there isa no guarantee that version will work. I just got him to get a Windows computer and everything appeared to be working when I shipped the new laptop back to him. I was able to log into to this machine using Splashtop Remote access. And everything worked when I checked it out again. The I received a call from him that the last contract he entered would not comeup(appear). That's when ZI tried to added an additional record to the file and received the error message that 0 records were added as there was no space to add records when there is 195GB of space available. That is not then enough free space. Am i running into the issue of too big a drive and filePro not able to access the drive as the version is too old to access a 256gGB drive. The Window 10 OS is 64 BIT.
