Thanks, Joe, for posting this.

I had forgotten that Tom was a musician, if I ever knew, but that explains 
why he remembered that I am, and he asked me about my musical endeavors 
the last time I saw him, maybe three years ago, after a gap of several 
years.

Tom was a part of many communities besides filePro, because his products 
served many communities and platforms, as do mine. I remember seeing in 
many settings and trade shows at least as far back as when SCO forum was 
held in Santa Cruz. He must have had the deepest knowledge of backup 
devices, hardware, and drivers of anybody around.

My condolences to has wife and family.
