It's the dirty little secret of demographics: the Baby Boom *was a boom*.

That curve of population has been slowly crawling to the right, but the
"what age do Americans die at" curve has been crawling much more slowly, and
may have stopped now.

Strap in tight, folks, it's gonna get worse.
