OT: PWA and/or MS Power Apps

Hello Mike!

You and I both share the same sentiment about MS Products and being 
locked in into proprietary subscription based stuff ... I like even less 
after finding that they appear to not have any connectors outside MS 
family of products.

To make matter worst, you need license for at least 3 services before 
you can do any work and each connector requires a license - I cannot 
fight this fight, I am up against three young blood that are eager and 
hungry and they think the world of M$, I am but the old man that knows a 
couple of things they care very little about :-(

Ironically, I get the assignments to write the code no one else can 
touch - not even their MS Certified Consulting firm - Go figure!

It is like a cultural thing, if it is not M$, it is not an option!  If 
you cannot drag and drop it, it is not useful!  If you have to actually 
write code, it is not modern enough!

I proposed sticking to web standards using NODE.JS, REACT.JS ... I do 
most or all of my coding in PHP but I am yet to find a task I have not 
been able to complete but, IT Director is a hard core MS SQL and MS 
Family of Products.
