-m or -mq will do the trick ... to keep it interactive.

PFDATA may be set via menu script when using the application and 
possibly, said endpoint is not
known to normal fp menu

If he needs to have a full read on what/why/when/where, I would check 
the menus he uses to access the
file and see if it is setting environment variables prior to 
*clerk/*report.

I am betting that it may be simply using -m hale for that file!

It seems to me that he got it under control as far as what to do to dump 
the data, telling the code what
key/data segments to use was his issue.
