segmentation violation

This is normally caused by a bad index file.  Is the record retained?

- rebuild your auto index files
- search for and make sure you are not updating a record from within 
your automatic process.
- make sure you look ups are "locked" if intending to update the record

If you are performing a lookup to edit/add a record prior to "end", that 
might be the file where the bad
index file exists thou I doubt it since you say that the error does not 
occur till you reach the "end" command
which I figure is the point the fp syncs to disk.
