Multi function printers

Every time I see this kind of posting I wonder: why is anyone still
struggling with this?
Would it not be an easier/faster/longer lasting solution to modify your
code so that all
reports/printing are done to PDF and have the user use any printer they
wish?
Was this not the very reason (or greatly the reason) why the community
was asking for
PDF output options natively in filePro?
I am not involved with those that deal with this sort of stuff but it
seems like the "predominant"
issue in the filePro community. I believe ANZIO has added printing
functionality to their application
to make this a breeze - Why not tell the "customer", use "anzio" and buy
any printer you want!?!
Oh, do not forget to ask for pay for the time it will take you to revise
your code and write it the
correct way this time around. <<<<<<< not intended to be a hammer
coming down on a nail !!!!!
I hate patches and band aids to help any business owner save $100 and
keep an application in the '80s era -
I know, it is not broke ... blah blah blah - To that I say, if it were
not broken, the printer to which you can print
would not be an issue.
I already have happy 2021 hats and we are still talking about printers
being compatible to filePro or
is it filePro being compatible to printers ...
BTW, my web based application does not have this problem - hit me up, I
migrate your customer free of cost
to you (you keep that $$$) and charge a reasonable monthly fee for using
my application (100% guaranteed to
print to a printer of your choice). ;-)
