OT: Browsers

You know you're five months past EOL on Win7, and it shouldn't even be
connected to a public network on which to use a browser, right?  :)

FWIW, I have a very large and complex system with a lot of custom and
unusual stuff most people wouldn't even have, and the in-place Win10
digital-only upgrade went without a hitch in under two hours.  The
biggest pain involved was figuring out why all my DAWs refused to work
for two weeks, until I tracked it down to the original ASIO4ALL driver
installation.  That's technically not a -full- driver, so Windows had no
idea, and you -must- uninstall it fully and reinstall it, or the unified
installer will just reinstall the version previously installed.  Once that
was addressed, everything was in tip-top shape.  Even Office 2010 didn't
lose its license activation, and that's the main reason I delayed for three
extra years.

They really did get it down to a science, for a change, by the time I
got around to doing the upgrade around September.
