1/2 etc.

A customer is cutting from various sources and pasting into filepro.
Terminal emulation program is Anziowin 17, with Linux terminal type.

 

She reports that sometimes when she copies the fraction ½  (one half) it
comes into filepro like  ½ (I assume this is a graphic or would symbol be
the phrase)  and sometimes like "1/2" (normal sized text characters).

I'm not sure the graphic will even survive the fp list but hopefully my
question is understandable.

 

I just tried it by cutting and copying from Word and Outlook and I get the
graphic.

 

I can't duplicate what she is getting so I was wondering if anyone could
describe potential causes.

 

 

BTW,  it is very nice to see all of you on the list every now and then
during these crazy times.
