I noted today that if one uses CLS(r,n) wto clear a show statement that uses the \bn [a- options., that if one leaves off the \a- the displayed field is not completely cleared.
I.e. cls(17,"1")
Show ("17","5") "display this information"<1<2<"and \b5"<10; field 10 is a date field and the date value can be between 02/01/2002 and 12/31/2005. Part of the year is left on screen.
However if show*"17","5") "display this information"<1<2<"and \b5"<10<"\a-" the display is cleared properly. Closing "\a-" in place.
This may how cls always worked but I did leave of the ending value accidently and noted what I had dome and corrected it.
Just a heads up if this happens to you.
