Has anyone tried to install an older version of filePro that works fine for
the application you are running and tried to put it on the latest Ubuntu
20.04 LTS system?
I have it running on an earlier version 12.04 Ubuntu for quite a few years,
but thought I would upgrade the OS to something newer, but I can't get it
to run.
When I try to simply run "p" for the main filePro menu, I get the following
error message:
/usr/local/bin/p: line 79: /usr2/appl/fp/runmenu : No such file or
directory.
/etc/default/fppath is:
/usr2/appl/
/usr2/appl/
PATH contains all of the required directories and the permissions on all of
the files appear to be exactly as they were on the Ubuntu 12.04 server.
BUT when you go to that directory it IS there it just won't run the script
or any of the executables.
Any ideas? I do NOT need the features available in 6.0.* or I would upgrade
to it.
