Their primary concern was not the data but the "code".  It is the usual 
reason why people rarely
migrate from one application to another, it works!

Aside from that, over the years they had developed so much staff 
customized for their niche and
their business that they very much wanted everything they had but cloud 
based.

I did presented the argument that they were going down an ever ending 
path and likely will find
themselves stuck with filePro after spending a fortune or scrapping 
everything or reverse engineering
their own code in Python or Ruby ...
