I would have thought that they could have developed the binary starting 
off Python/PHP (like faceBook did)
and make it their own.

A while back I was thinking about writing code to convert filePro 'key' 
into XML/JSON documents but I did not
have a "need" for it and dropped it.

I heard about a guy that is writing Python code to interpret filePro 
code and write Python classes/objects to
migrate from filePro native.  I thought it was crazy and I am not even 
sure this is possible but I did tell
him that if he pulled that off to call fpTech  ;-)
