File handler not appending to file

Ah yes….  I am a total doofus….  I looked at the manual specifically with use of the “0” and while I know what truncate means, I was thinking it was doing the complete opposite of truncating.  However, the SEEK also appears to be necessary, but your guys help, it is now working.  

In unrelated news, I have my tickets and hotel all set for Orlando and am looking forward to meeting those of you who may be going.  I cannot wait.
